Blocking for the whole site
Due to high incidence of fraud and other considerations, visitors from some countries are not allowed to access or view our website.
If one of our premium members has traveled to a country that is blocked, he may log in using his premium account and it will go around the country block.
Blocking for specific models
Models are also able to block specific countries (and states in the USA) so if visitors are from those countries they will not see the model online, and will not be able to enter her chat room or see her profile.
Models can change these block settings in the Profile Settings and Model Settings within their Model Admin page.
Note: If you block your own country (or state), you will not see yourself online on the homepage. This is a good way to test the block and see that it is working.
Exclusion for friends
If a member is added as a friend to the model's Friends List, then the member will automatically go around the model's specific blocked locations.
Note: Models can block their own country (or state), and then add themselves to their own friends list, and they should once again be able to see themselves on the homepage.
Is the block working?
Yes.
If a visitor says they are from the location the model has blocked, one of the following must be true:
- The visitor is currently located in another country or state, away from the blocked location.
- The visitor is using a VPN.
- The visitor is lying.
- The visitor's IP address is not properly connected to its geographical location (extremely rare).
The block works by looking at the IP addresses of visitors and determining where in the world that IP comes from. We use the most expensive and up-to-date IP databases to make sure our information is always as accurate as possible, and it is accurate over 99.999% of the time.
