HD Video Beta

We are testing a method for models to broadcast their video on MyFreeCams.com in High Definition (HD), which should produce better quality video and audio.
Follow the steps on this page to learn how to start broadcasting in HD.

Requirements
- You need to be running Flash Player 11, read below to see how to install it if you do not already have it.
- You need to have a very fast Internet connection.
- You need a pretty good computer.
- Any webcam is OK.
Download Flash Player 11
To check what version of Flash Player you have, go to this page:
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
To download the latest version of Flash Player, go to this page:
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If you are using the normal downloaded MyFreeCams Model Software, then make sure to visit the page above in Internet Explorer and install Flash from there.
Enable HD Broadcasting
Normal Model Software
a) Download and install the latest MyFreeCams Model Software from the Model Admin. It should show Version 2.2011.11.01 or newer in the friends list.
b) Click Options and Settings, scroll down to Advanced Options, and select HD Video Beta and then click Save All Settings to close the window.
c) Click Start Webcam and you will be broadcasting in HD.
Model Web Broadcaster
For models using the Model Web Broadcaster, click Options and Settings, select the Advanced tab, and then select HD Video Beta, and click Save.
Broadcast in HD
Click Start Webcam as always to begin broadcasting.
Your video is now in HD mode and your video and audio quality should be better than before.
Your avatar on the homepage will have a bold HD logo, notifying members that you are broadcasting in HD.
