Choosing a Model Username

The Username is the screen name or stage name that the model will use on MyFreeCams.com.

Username rules and tips

Technical requirements:

• Must contain between 5 and 13 characters.
• Must begin with a letter.
• May contain letters, numbers, and underscores. (e.g. SexyModel_4U)
• May not end with the numbers 11,12,13,14,15,16,17.

Rules:

• May not suggest the model is under the age of 18 (e.g. Lolita).
• May not suggest illegal, obscene, or Forbidden things.

Tips:

• Usernames are case-sensitive, so sexymodel will look different than SexyModel.
• Models are not sorted alphabetically. (i.e. a username that starts with "A" is not advantageous).
• Try to choose a unique and memorable name!

Changing the username

Models can change their username in their Model Admin page.

Changing your username will change your profile URL and your old profile page will no longer work. It will not automatically redirect to the new one.

But all archives and friends lists are updated automatically, therefore changing the username is not an effective tool for achieving privacy or a fresh start.
